How Does Curbside Veterinary Service Work?
Instead of coming into the clinic with your pet, you may park in our lot and let our staff bring your pet in for you. It is important that you bring your cell phone with you and are available to answer it when the doctor calls in order to keep your appointment running on-time and as smoothly as possible. Once you arrive at our hospital, please follow the steps below.
CALL US TO CHECK-IN
Call us at (310) 305-7297 to check in for your appointment. Please relay the color, make & model of your vehicle to our staff. Someone will come out to get your pet shortly.
REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE
Please stay in your vehicle until a staff member comes to collect your pet. At the time, please exit your vehicle and hand your pet to the staff member, who will then bring your pet inside.
ANSWER YOUR PHONE
After the doctor examines your pet, she will call you to discuss your needs and concerns, as well as her recommendations and treatment plan. Shortly thereafter, her assistant will contact you to review the estimate for the recommended treatment plan and discuss how you would like to proceed. PLEASE NOTE: It is very important that you answer the phone when the doctor calls, as she is doing so during a time specifically set aside to speak with you. If she is unable to get a hold of you during that time, it may result in extended delays as she will have to see her next appointment and may have to call you back at a later time.
CHECK YOUR E-MAIL
Your digital signature is required to move forward with treatment for your pet. We will send a copy of the agreed upon treatment plan estimate, along with any other necessary documents, to the email address we have on file via DocuSign or HelloSign. You will be able to review, fill out and submit everything using your smartphone.
PLEASE WAIT PATIENTLY
Due to an increased volume of patients and the current protocols in place, wait times have increased significantly. If you would rather not wait in the parking lot while your pet is being treated, you may drop off your pet at your appointment time, and we can call you when your pet is ready to be picked up. We apologize in advance for the extended wait time and thank you for your patience.
PROCESS PAYMENT
Credit card is the preferred method of payment. No in-person credit card payments will be accepted. If we do not already have a credit card on file for you, a credit card authorization form will be sent with the treatment plan estimate. Once your invoice has been finalized, your payment will be processed using this information. All invoices and receipts will be emailed to the email address on file. If you must pay in cash, please inform the doctor's assistant of this. Exact change is appreciated.
CHECK-OUT
Once your pet's treatment is completed, a staff member will bring your pet back out to your vehicle along with any medications or items your pet is going home with. If you have elected to drop your pet off, a staff member will now call or text you to let you know your pet is ready for pick-up. Please follow step #8 when you arrive for pick-up.
CALL US FOR PICK-UP
Call us at (310) 305-7297 when you arrive in the parking lot to pick up your pet. Please relay your updated vehicle description if it has changed. Someone will bring your pet out to you shortly!
Online Pharmacy
For our clients who do not want to travel into the clinic, please take advantage of our Hospital’s Online Pharmacy. This can be a great resource to ensure proper social distancing, but still provides access to all of the necessary medications and nutritional products we carry at our hospital and more!
Thank you for all your dedication and support during these challenging times! Please reach out with any questions.
